Your GA or VIP wristband includes tent camping at the festival.  You can set up camp in any of our campgrounds. All the campgrounds are free-form. There is plenty of space at the property for everybody to set up and camp comfortably, however we ask that footprints are kept reasonable (50 sq ft per person rule) and will enforce this if camp sites are too large.

Tickets

& Entry

HOW DO I FIND MY TICKET I PURCHASED?

Your ticket should be emailed to the email address you purchased with from TIXR. Look for an email from TIXR or you can go to our ticketing website and login to find your tickets.

If you're still having trouble you can email support@tixr.com with your order info and they will be able to assist.

WILL SINGLE DAY WRISTBANDS & PARKING PASSES BE AVAILABLE?

No, we are not currently planning on selling single day tickets.

MY FRIENDS GOT A CAR-CAMPING PASS, CAN I CAMP WITH THEM?

If your friends got a Car-Camping Pass or an RV Pass with Hookups, you can still camp with them at their site. You may have a longer walk with your gear depending on where you park.  All parking pass holders will be directed to the lots they purchased parking for.

MY GROUP HAS MULTIPLE CAR-CAMPING PASSES, CAN WE PARK NEXT TO EACH OTHER?

If you want to park next to your friends in our car-camping loops, you will have to arrive together. The spots will fill up on a first-come, first-served basis. If you would like to arrive at different times and still camp together we would suggest purchasing one of our 80' x 80' Group Campsites.

WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN UP-FRONT CAMPGROUNDS AND CAR CAMPING CAMPGROUNDS?

Up-Front Campgrounds are a closer walk to the stages but do not have showers located in them, you may walk to any of the free showers in nearby campgrounds and use them. You may hear music in your tents late-night in the Up-Front campgrounds since they’re right by the festival grounds. No vehicles are allowed on the grass so you can't park your car at your campsite here. You’ll park in a parking lot adjacent to the campgrounds.

Car Camping Campgrounds are farther away from the stages (about a 5-10 minute walk), however they have campground showers in them for free and typically provide a bit more space at your campground. Additionally, all spots in the Car Camping campgrounds are directly next to your vehicle so you can park at the campsite. If your vehicle is part of your camping set up (your tent comes off your vehicle) you should go purchase a car-camping pass.

WILL TICKETS BE MAILED OUT THIS YEAR?

No, your tickets will be picked up upon arrival at the gate.

AM I ABLE TO LEAVE THE FESTIVAL AND COME BACK IN?

Yes, leave your parking sticker on your car and your wristbands on when you leave the park, You will be able to come and go from the park as you need through the weekend. Please take note of the gate times for entry and exit.

IS MY TICKET REFUNDABLE OR TRANSFERABLE?

Tickets are not refundable.  All ticket sales are final. Please review our refund policy at the bottom of all pages on our website.

If you purchase our Flex Refund Guarantee at checkout and need to cancel your plans for any reason, you can request a refund up until 72 hours before the event, and receive a full refund for your GA Pass in the form of a credit towards Same Same But Different 2024 or 2025.

CAN I ARRIVE EARLY TO THE FESTIVAL?

Our gate times are strict. You must purchase a Wednesday Early Arrival pass if you want to arrive to the festival early.

CAN I RETURN MY TICKET THROUGH AN OFFICIAL TICKET EXCHANGE?

SSBD does not offer an official ticket exchange. Unfortunately, running an exchange would require significant resources in terms of personnel, technology, and customer service. We aim to maintain control over ticket pricing to keep the festival accessible and fair, and an official exchange run by third parties typically complicate this and offer legal complexities.

For those who can't attend and wish to sell their tickets, we recommend using trusted personal networks or secure third-party resale platforms. We do not recommend purchasing from unverified people and we cannot verify tickets that are not sold on our official TIXR website.

HOW DOES RV CAMPING WORK AND WHAT OPTIONS DO WE HAVE TO BRING AN RV

RVs are very welcome at SSBD, if you buy a parking pass for your RV there is no limit on who can sleep at the RV.

If you're bringing an RV to Same Same But Different you have two options:

 RV PARKING WITH HOOKUPS

*Best if you have friends that want to tent-camp nearby.

Spaces are 25 feet wide, maximum length is 40 feet.

This space includes a 30 amp power hookup for your vehicle and also a running water hookup and grey water dump for your vehicle. Black water dump located on-site nearby but not at your site. Campsite space is available around the RV to set up tents nearby if needed. These spaces are near showers and bathrooms with running water that are cleaned and maintained by the state park. Each RV space has its own grill / fire-pit and picnic table. If your friends want to camp with you they can. If your friends are bringing another vehicle they will need to purchase a separate parking pass depending on their needs. All RV and parking spaces are first-come, first-serve and cannot be reserved. No vehicles without this parking pass will be allowed into this lot.

RV PARKING WITHOUT HOOKUPS

This pass provides a parking space in our RV Parking Lot without Hookups.

The parking spot is 12 feet wide by 40 feet long.

If your RV is wider than 12 feet you must purchase a second RV Parking Pass. (Limit 2 Per Order)

Reserves a space for any RV, bus or towable trailer.

Spaces are first-come, first-serve.

This space is in a parking lot only, you can camp inside your vehicle however there is no space around it to set up tents.

RV DROP-OFFS FROM THIRD PARTIES

If you plan to use an RV delivery service, the SSBD guest with the GA/VIP wristband and the RV parking pass need to arrive with rental delivery driver. Once the RV is dropped off, the delivery driver and their vehicle is expected to leave the property if they do not have a wristband and/or parking pass.

Delivery drivers are able to enter to pick up the RVs on Monday without SSBD guest present.

SHOWERS / BATHROOMS

If you're camping in SHORT WALK CAR-CAMPING Campgrounds you will be located very close to state park maintained bathrooms with showers.  These facilities have running water for sinks, toilets and all have at least one shower unit in them. All festival attendees will be allowed access to any of the shower / bathroom facilities, however Up-Front Car-Camping Campgrounds will have a longer walk (5 - 10 minutes) to get to them.

These showers are all free to use by all attendees. We do not have paid shower options.

WHAT ABOUT GLAMPING OPTIONS?

If you're flying in from out of town or just don't want to bother with setting up and bringing your own tent we recommend you book a Shift Pod Campsite with us at the festival.

We set up a fully-enclosed, private area at the festival for you and your guests. The Shift Pod tent area is located close enough to quickly walk back and forth from the stages and has its own bathrooms.
