So let's explore a bit what that all means to  Same Same But Different and the measures we take to ensure that we are doing our part to make a positive influence.

 

Reducing Our Carbon Footprint

At Same Same But Different we actively try to reduce our carbon footprint and minimize our damage to the environment. We work with local vendors and suppliers to reduce the transportation for our festival needs. We prioritize walking and carpooling to lessen energy consumption and carbon emissions. We also incorporate eco-friendly practices in our infrastructure, such as our bars and vending stations that opt for reusable or biodegradable items over single-use plastic.

 

Promoting Sustainability and Education

Throughout our festival, we strive to promote sustainability through education. We provide information and resources to festival-goers about eco-friendly practices and encourage them to take responsibility for their environmental repercussions. We also partner with local organizations and vendors who share our values to promote these best practices in our community.

 

Reducing Waste and Encouraging Recycling

We promote waste reduction by providing recycling and compost stations throughout the festival grounds. We limit single-use items by offering reusable cups and plates and encouraging attendees to bring water bottles and utensils throughout the festival.
